Store Policy

Your Account:

Daughter Nature® has been offering home décor and gift items to decorators, resellers and retail stores since 2001

All customers: Please create an account. There are no membership or drop ship fees required.

We reserve the right to update our prices without advance notice.

Minimum Orders:

We do not require a minimum purchase amount. For possible same day shipping, all U.S. ground shipping orders must be placed before 10AM EST.

Payment Information:

All orders require payment via your Daughter Nature® shopping cart. We use Paypal to process payments.

Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover are accepted.

(No Checks or Money Orders accepted, however e-checks are accepted via Paypal) 

Sales tax: All shipments to North Carolina will be charged a sales tax unless you provide a Resale Certificate for tax exemption. Please email us a copy of your Resale Certificate, not a Seller's Permit. Please do not mail the certificate we only accept documents via email. Please be sure the file is smaller than 20KB.

What is the difference?

Resale Certificate

Resale certificates identify a business as having the right to make certain nontaxable purchases. These include wholesale items for resale and items that are purchased for use in the manufacture of products for resale. Resale certificates prevent the double collection of sales tax on products. Sales tax is collected further down the road when the item is purchased by the final customer. The seller of the original items will require the purchaser to provide a copy of a resale certificate to keep on file for tax purposes.


Seller's Permit

A seller's permit allows a state to identify a business as a collector of sales tax. Some states may call this permit a "sales tax" permit or license. Seller permits are required for sole proprietors, partnerships, limited liability companies and corporations that sell tangible property to the public as a wholesaler or a retailer. Tangible property is a physical item such as a toy, jewelry or a vehicle. Tangible property may also include construction materials for homes and repair. Some states may require service-oriented businesses (accountants, lawyers, therapists) to collect a tax, which would require the business owner to obtain a seller's permit. Some states require temporary sellers (seasonal, holiday, rummage sales) to obtain a temporary seller's permit. Although most businesses with a resale certificate have a seller's permit, some manufacturers never sell a product for resale and only provide components for other products. These businesses may not be required to hold a seller's permit because they do not collect a sales tax.

An Employer Identification Number (EIN) is a nine-digit number assigned by the IRS. It is used to identify the tax accounts of employers and certain others who have no employees. The IRS uses the number to identify taxpayers who are required to file various business tax returns.


We ship within the United States, its territories, Canada and Military APO/FPO. 

Items weighing less than 1 pound may be shipped via Parcel Post First Class.
Orders to P.O. Boxes are ok, however base rate is $9.50
Orders sent to Hawai'i, U.S. Territories and Military APO/FPO are shipped via USPS Air Mail. Canadian shipments are via Canada Post and only on Thursdays, so must place order by Tuesday before 5pm ET for shipment on Thursday.
Standard UPS Ground shipping time is up to 7-10 business days within the U.S., usually less for West Coast deliveries. For faster service we offer RUSH UPS 2-Day service to Continental U.S. only No RUSH Service to P.O. Boxes.

Note: Undeliverable packages returned to us will be charged a $5.00 fee plus additional reshipping charges. 

Original art is shipped directly from artist. Original art sales are non refundable and discounts do not apply.

Availability of goods:

Due to the speed of which products are sold we can not guarantee that everything posted on our website will be available. On occasion an item may be on back order.

Preparation time:

Preparation time to process an order is up to 2-3 business days, except during (from September to December and Holidays) when preparation may take longer.

Please Note: Orders are processed once payment is received. We cannot add, change or cancel orders once payment has been made. You will need to place a new order for any new items needed.

Return of Merchandise:

All sales are final after 30 days. We will gladly replace damaged items. Please send us a photo of damage. Orders must be returned within 30 days of purchase. Please contact us --> here for return slip, which will be sent directly to you or your client . Replacement is at no cost to you or your customer. Unwanted item returns will incur a 20% fee. Shipping is  non refundable.
